Vintage Art Pottery – Sea Shell Bowl – Made in Italy – Italian Ceramics – Maroon, White, Grey

This is a charming intage Art Pottery Bowl that could be used as a serving piece or a small centerpiece, or displayed just as it is. The bowl is in the form of a Sea Shell, with another smaller decorative sea shell serving as the handle.

The range of maroon, white and grey tones of the glaze are marvelous.

This bowl measures about between 3 inches.  Its widest measurement is about 4 inches wide by about 7 inches long.  This sea shell bowl is nicely signed on the bottom:  3/8/706/1 FF Italy
.  It is in very good Vintage Condition with a few rough spots on the “rings” on the rim.

Vintage Art Pottery – Large Peach Blow Pink Glaze Art Pottery Stick Vase – F-118

This is art pottery in the decorative family of vintage art glass, in those wonderful peach blow, or peachblow pink tones. The form is an ancient one, from classic Chinese glazed porcelain ceramic ware, from the Qing Dynasty, usually called a stick vase, or stick neck vase

The elegant form is covered with a pink monochrome glaze. The pear form body is supported on a recessed foot. The recessed base is unglazed, white clay.

Pink symbolizes love and romance, caring and tenderness, acceptance and innocence, freshness and good health, compassion and nurturing, sweetness and calm.

Three Handled Dark Red Vase

What a gorgeous vintage art pottery vase this is, with its deep red glossy glaze and the over-glaze drip providing interest and helping to define the generous proportions of the vessel. The vase is graced with three handles or three arms, a motif popular in the first half of the 20th century.

The vase is in outstanding vintage condition, with one small glaze miss about the size of a pinky fingernail clipping, which happened when the piece was glazed at the factory.

The base is not signed. Offered as Maker Unknown. The vase has affinities with North Carolina pottery.
